Most bid writing methodologies are based on a flawed assumption. They assume that a solution already exists on which to base the response. But for complex services contracts, the solution is being developed in parallel with the rest of the proposal. Our approach uses the proposal strategy to drive the design of the solution, so that the customer’s hot buttons and pain is being addressed as an integral part of the design.
Commonly known as red team reviews, these comprise a review and dummy evaluation scoring of a draft proposal shortly before submission. The output is a written assessment of strengths and weaknesses in the proposal, along with targeted recommendations for changes that will result in higher evaluation scores and an improved probability of success.
